As part of our legal obligation as an Authorised Corporate Service Provider (ACSP), we are required to ensure that your identity verification complies fully with Companies House regulations under the Economic Crime and Corporate Transparency Act 2023.

We have partnered with TrustID, one of the UK’s leading government-certified identity verification providers, to securely handle this process.

Step 1: Receive Your TrustID Link via Email

You will shortly receive an email from Company Formation 365 containing a secure TrustID verification link.
Each director you’ve registered will receive their individual link where they can complete the ID verification process. If multiple directors were included in your order, please ensure each person checks their email and completes the verification separately.

⏳ When to Expect It: Within 15–30 minutes of payment confirmation.

Step 2: Complete the Verification with TrustID

Each director will be asked to complete a remote identity check through TrustID. This includes:

1. Uploading a valid government-issued photo ID
   Acceptable documents: Passport or Driver’s License (UK or International)
2. Taking a selfie for facial recognition
   This ensures your photo ID matches the person submitting it
3. Confirming basic personal details
   Full name, date of birth, and email

TrustID uses government-standard biometric matching and encrypted data handling — meaning your documents are secure, and your identity is verified accurately.

⏳ Estimated time to complete: 3–5 minutes per director

Step 3: Approval & Submission by Company Formation 365

Once all directors have completed their TrustID verification:

• Our compliance team will review and verify all submissions
• You will receive an update email with the verification status for each director

If all submitted documents meet verification standards, we will file the appropriate confirmation with Companies House, linking the verified directors to your company record.

If any issues are found (e.g., blurred photos, unmatched IDs), you’ll be notified with simple instructions to re-upload the correct documents via a secure link.
